I have used this a few times an it is just amazing! it is a great I have taken it on a couple bikepacking tours... if you do not want to haul the coleman double burner when you take the car....i got the adapter for this, to hook up propane tanks. i was able to put my 10 inch dutch oven on and make breakfast/dinner for the crew, and making coffee in the mornings. it is solid, boils fast, do not cook for long periods of time, without propane adaptor, or you will burn through your butane rather quickly.
Seems well made. Easy set up and burns hot. Good value.
I love it. I will say it is a little on the heavy side for backpacking but I wanted a camp stove that was away from the gas canister and had no ignition (they rarely work and add weight and complexity). Found this and took it on a trip last week during the hurricane. I cooked ramen and made coffee and boiled water for pre packaged meals. The heat control is probably what surprised me the most. Goes easy from simmer to blazing torch. Most important. NO LEAKS. Tons of the knock off stoves have small leaks at the cylinder but this one is tight.
If you're looking for a big stable stove in a small compact package, This is it.
The quality is outstanding, The legs click into place tight, The rivets are tight, Overall great construction.
It also has great flame control adjustability, from simmer to full blast.
It nests fine in my cook pot which is an MSR 1.1liter with room to spare, With its case or without.
I needed a stove to fill the gap for more stable cooking than an on top of the fuel canister cooker type,
which I will still use to boil water, And use the Lixada split stove to cook meals with no worries of it falling over onto the ground.
I'm posting some pictures for a better judgement of the overall scale size of the stove and the flame size.
I'm very pleased with this purchase, I was hoping I wouldn't get sent a piece of junk, And I didn't.
like another reviewer said, "it is built like a tank" Happy trails folks.
I own a few of these. They work great and I have found them to be quite reliable.
Great little stove. We used it today in 30 degree weather and it boiled 2 cups of water in 2-3 minutes.
Goods came as described in a couple of days. Visually good quality. The have not tried.
Made with high quality, is good, in fact, is not used.
Excellent torch. Thick (about 3mm) metal. All connections are reliable and dense. No feeling that collapse-on the contrary-sure, that long to serve. There Is A piezo ignition. Wrote in a review that it is not well fixed. I do not think so-If wisely used-it will last long. Test heat-1,2 gallons of water in the kettle boil for 4 minutes. The size of the space under the pot-think bowler hats 3-4 liters will stand securely. If more-better would be strengthened. And maybe standards. Take along with the ordinary households cylinders. Burner adapter fit in the case without problems. IN general, all happy and recommend!
Lovely burner. Ordered 09.07.2018G. Courier brought 26.07.2018G. Works great for 3 minutes boiled 1 liter of water. For tent camping essential thing. Seller recommend.
I use this to make coffee in a syphon set. It folds up to be very small. Uses a tiny amount of fuel to make a cup of coffee and costs half to one quarter of what the fancy syphon burners cost. I hope it holds up
I think it is great. Although I haven't had the chance to use it camping or hiking yet, I have used it a few times here at home just to test it. It is easy to use, great flame control and as far as I can see it is just as good, if not superior to more expensive brands,
This stove is very well built and performs well. The plastic case is a nice addition that I'll use too.
Awesome burner! Handy for a quick cook up at camp! And easy to store because it’s so small
Great stove for the price. Works just fine, pretty portable and bigger fire than the "pocket rocket" knockoffs.
Delivered very quickly and is exactly as described. Very stable and more powerful than the one it is replacing.
This thing works great and can heat a surprisingly large amount. Two things to consider while using. The entire thing gets hot so make sure it's not sitting on something that will melt. And if you want to simmer I recommend using a heat defuser since the flame won't go low enough to simmer.
